Frequently Asked Questions

Answers for all your pet questions.

General

How do I know if it's an emergency?

If your pet is showing sudden symptoms or just not acting like themselves, give us a call. We’ll help you assess the situation and guide you through next steps.

Yes—when possible, we strongly recommend calling ahead. This allows our team to prepare for your pet’s arrival, prioritize care appropriately, and help ensure a smoother experience once you walk through the door.

In an emergency, your focus is getting your pet here safely—we understand you may not have time to gather everything. If possible, bring any medications your pet is taking, recent medical records, and a form of payment. If your pet ingested something, bringing the label or packaging can be helpful for treatment.

We triage patients by urgency. Pets in critical condition are seen immediately, while those in stable condition may have a short wait depending on case severity. Our goal is always safe, timely care for every patient.

Financing

We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit), checks, and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.

We accept CareCredit, which lets you spread out payments over time. Subject to credit approval. Please see our financing options for more information.

Once approved, you can use your CareCredit card just like any other credit card. Simply present it at checkout when paying for your pet’s visit.Yes. While we don’t recommend any specific provider, we encourage pet parents to explore their options. Tools like Pawlicy Advisor can help you compare top insurance providers side-by-side based on coverage, exclusions, reimbursement rates, and monthly premiums.
